Fort Monroe is a wonderful place to visit. If you are a history buff, nature lover or simply looking for a good meal, a day at Fort Monroe is unlike any other.
Fort Monroe has received several national designations to celebrate and protect this area’s important heritage. 
Led by one of the National Park Service Rangers, discover more about the common soldier, their equipment, and experience during the American Civil War. This program includes historic weapons firing demonstrations. This program will last about 30 minutes and will be offered again at 12:30 pm. Program location is the Lincoln Gun on the Parade Ground.
