Fort Monroe is a wonderful place to visit. If you are a history buff, nature lover or simply looking for a good meal, a day at Fort Monroe is unlike any other.
Fort Monroe has received several national designations to celebrate and protect this area’s important heritage. 
The Fort Monroe Authority (FMA) Board of Trustees will hold their annual retreat and meeting on April 16 and 17, 2025 at the Williamsburg Lodge, located at 310 South England Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185. The public meeting will begin at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 16 in the Piedmont Room at the Williamsburg Lodge. Day 2 will begin at 8 am in the same meeting room. As noted on the agenda, there will only be one time for public comment on Wednesday just after the opening of the meeting. For the remainder of the retreat, board members and staff will be in small working groups and no board actions will be taken. Additionally, there will be no opportunity for public comment during the working group sessions.
