Streetcar service to Old Point Comfort began in January 1892. The route was designed to connect passengers and cargo between cities for tourism and to provide local businesses with access to the wharf for commerce. Join Greg Siegel of Hampton’s Streetcar 390 Project for a talk about the restoration process and Fort Monroe’s streetcar history, then visit the newly restored Streetcar 390!
