Fort Monroe has received several national designations to celebrate and protect this area’s important heritage. 
The Resilient Hampton Initiative is hosting a drop-in style community open house for the Natural Infrastructure Resilience Plan from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 in the multipurpose room at Fort Monroe Community Center. Community members are invited to learn about Hampton’s natural assets and help create a plan for a greener and more connected community. The project team will give a presentation about opportunities and strategies to support Hampton’s natural assets at 6:30 p.m. Can’t make the meeting?
