Fort Monroe has received several national designations to celebrate and protect this area’s important heritage. 
The following buildings are closed from December 24 through December 27 for the Christmas holiday period:
Fort Monroe Authority Main Office
Leasing Office
Visitor and Education Center
Casemate Museum
The Fort Monroe Visitor and Education Center and Casemate Museum will reopen on December 31 at 10 am.
