Fort Monroe has received several national designations to celebrate and protect this area’s important heritage. 
TONIGHT’S PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE EXPECTED THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE IN THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US NEXT WEEK FOR THE CONCERT FEATURING THE U.S. ARMY TRADOC ROCK BAND.
Tonight’s performers will be the 208th Army Band Jazz Ensemble from Concord, NC. 208th Army Band provides concert music, military marches, rock band, stage band, jazz combo, and numerous small ensembles for musical support.
Bring your own picnic, chairs, and blankets to enjoy summer sunsets by the Chesapeake Bay along with the sweet sounds of some of the region’s most talented performers.
Large groups welcome. Drop-off at Continental Park, bus parking at Outlook Beach parking lot. Free parking onsite.
