Join us October 28^th from 11am-1pm in the Visitor and Education Center @ Fort Monroe for Rampart Readers, a children’s book club partnership between Fort Monroe Authority and Hampton Public Library. This month, we are reading Amara and the Bats written and illustrated by Emma Reynolds, showcasing the power of determination and environmental activism in your own back yard through a little girl’s love of an unlikely nocturnal creature! After, spend some time with us to show off your love of these pollinators for a bat craft for National Bat Appreciation Week!
