Plan Your Visit
Fort Monroe is a wonderful place to visit. If you are a history buff, nature lover or simply looking for a good meal, a day at Fort Monroe is unlike any other.
TONIGHT’S PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER THAT IS ANTICIPATED IN OUR AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. PLEASE JOIN US NEXT WEEK FOR THE 208TH ARMY BAND JAZZ ENSEMBLE.
The Peninsula Concert Band has a rich, 70-year history of providing musical entertainment to people all over Hampton Roads, Virginia. We love to perform concerts and educate audiences year-round with a broad range of band music that includes marches (e.g. “Stars and Stripes Forever” and “Colonel Bogey’s March”), contemporary show tunes, concert band versions of classical orchestral music (e.g. Bach and Brahms), patriotic medleys (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day), traditional works for concert band, and holiday music!
The band is inclusively comprised of a diverse group of musicians who come from the local area and share a love of music with a common desire to please those attending our concerts.
Bring your own picnic, chairs, and blankets to enjoy summer sunsets by the Chesapeake Bay along with the sweet sounds of some of the region’s most talented performers.
Large groups welcome. Drop-off at Continental Park, bus parking at Outlook Beach parking lot. Free parking onsite.
