Facebook

All Facebook posts and tags must be approved by the Director of Marketing.

Best Practices for Facebook Posting:

  • Use good judgment when posting on the Fort Monroe timeline as well as on other Facebook pages under the Fort Monroe name
  • Be respectful, maintain confidentiality and be accurate
  • Be consistent in the voice and tone of your posts
  • Cover photos must be approved and should be relevant to Fort Monroe
  • Only use images in the public domain or that Fort Monroe owns the rights to

YouTube

All videos regarding Fort Monroe must be submitted to the Director of Marketing for posting to YouTube.

Best Practices for YouTube Videos:

  • Only official logos are to be used
  • No copyrighted audio or video allowed in video
  • Video submissions should be of original work
  • Individual files must be less than 20GB
