Fort Monroe has received several national designations to celebrate and protect this area’s important heritage. 
Join us April 29th from 11am-1pm in the Visitor and Education Center @ Fort Monroe for Rampart Readers, a children’s book club partnership between Fort Monroe Authority and Hampton Public Library. This month, as part of our Fun at the Fort event, we are reading Not Norman: A Goldfish Story by Kelly Bennett and illustrated by Noah Z. Jones, to discover how getting an unlikely pet goldfish named Norman can teach us about finding the good in something we didn’t know we wanted. After our reading, stay to create your own unlikely pet, a pet rock that is!
Our book for this month is rated by Scholastic for 3 to 7 years old, but all are welcome. This event will be a part of our Fun at the Fort Family Day. Join us for a full afternoon of fun!
