11:30 am Traditional African Naming Ceremony performed by an African spiritual leader based on the individual’s spirit and social consciousness of their ancestry.
12 noon 8th annual Pilgrimage Prayer–World Day of Reconciliation and healing from the legacy of enslavement.
12:30 pm Annual African Landing Day Commemoration–Libation, African Dancers and Drummer, and ceremony to commemorate the arrival of the first Africans brought to English occupied North American in 1619.
1:30 pm Musical Mosaic, Genesis Performing Arts Society, Fortresses Live, Letitia White Academy of Dance, local youth dance groups, spoken word, poetry.
3:00 pm Procession to water to throw flower petals to honor the ancestors and lives lost.
